WHY EVERGREEN TREES NEVER LOSE THEIR LEAVES- PART 4
Welcome back boys☺
I'm sure you must have completed the question answers given in the previous blog.
Today we are going to do 'Reference to Context' and a few more value- based questions.
By the end of the lesson, you will be able to
(a) Who were these words spoken to?
Ans These words were spoken to the little bird.
(b) What was the reaction of the listener?
Ans The listener (little bird) was puzzled and upset.
(c) What do you think about the speaker?
Ans The speaker (oak tree) was very selfish and unkind as it thought that the bird would probably eat away all its acorns if he was allowed to stay on its branches.
Think and answer:
Q1. According to the story, the unkind trees 'talked amongst themselves'.They had their reasons for not letting the bird stay . Do you think the reasons were fair enough?/
Ans In my opinion, the reasons given by the unkind trees for not helping the bird were not fair at all.If the trees wanted, they could have helped the bird but they acted selfish and chose not to do so.
Q2. What lesson does the story teach us?
Ans We learn from the story that we should be kind and show selfless love towards the helpless and the needy. We need to help others and show kindness without any expectation. This way we create a circle and that kindness comes back to us. It is always what we give is what we get.
TASK 2 -H.W:
Construct meaningful sentences using the following words:
1. Relieved
2. delicious
