PHRASAL VERBS ( PART 2 )

21st  May, 2020

Welcome to a new day of learning !

Let's continue with the topic, Phrasal Verbs.

Just a brief recap!
A phrasal verb usually consists  of a verb followed by a  preposition . It is used as a single verb but  with a new meaning .

Example:-   Phrasal verbs with the verb, look :-

look into-      meaning    ( to investigate )      look forward -   meaning  ( to eagerly wait for something)    Just like ;  we look forward to our summer break as we're tired of studies. 😐😐

Now boys,  do keep in mind that there are innumerable ( countless ) phrasal verbs in English language and it will become too tedious  to learn a whole lot of them . Hence  we learn only the ones listed below in this academic year.
